Great progress! Nothing wrong with having someone makes things for you. It's not always fun (or less expensive) to make it yourself. It will be great either way.

I was able to try everything on together. I still need to hem everything and I might change my inner robe to gabardine so the velvet lining slides easier. I'm pretty happy with it overall, but please let me know what I should change before I do the finishing. :)

So shiny!!!!

I applied the paint and clear coat to my helmet!! I put my velvet against it to see how different they are. They look pretty good. Not quite exact, but so close. This picture was taken is very bright and direct sunlight.
