* The split along the back should be a little higher but as long as it is hidden under the helmet when worn then it's fine. Actually that will help with keeping the material together over many troops.

Walt on facebook has a guy that 3d prints a pretty decent set of handle parts. You just need to carefully assemble and glue them together on PVC pipe. Hope that helps.

Good news on that front. The saberpike is not required for approval. When you take your submission photos you just need to be in costume. No props/weapons needed unless specified as required in the CRL.
