The pockets are easily removed with a seam ripper. I kept the Pockets on the Chest as those are covered by the amour.

I Took a regular guard helmet and gave it a fin on top along with cutting out all but the Triangle on the resin kit. Wet sand and painted.

So this simple route on this is you can you plastic signs sold at hardware store to use as under strips in the inside. Use e6000 to bond them. As this will give you some play to adjust. Aftereise use bondo to seamless the outside. Prime and paint.

I do like that they add a cushion for length. Better to be too long than too short.
