ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW DOMAIN

Hi everyone!

As you have all noticed, there have been some challenges with the forums in the last couple of years. To help resolve these issues and streamline handover for future Command, we are migrating the forums to a new host with a new domain.

On Thursday, January 29 at approximately 1500 Pacific Time (1800 Eastern), I am going to LOCK these forums. Then I am going to take a final snapshot of everything here, and copy the database onto the new site. This process should take less than 30 minutes if all goes smoothly. If I run in to complications, I will bring this one back up online until such time as I can fix the issue.

I'm not anticipating any major problems, but if you happen to notice something that I missed during the transition, please let me know and I'll repair it as soon as possible.

The new site is presently up and running, and can be found at https://www.501stspd.com/. It is currently DISABLED, as any posts made there will be overwritten when I pull the final database.

Things of note:
- You do NOT need a new account
- You do NOT need a new password
- All posts made as of January 29 will be migrated
- We will be putting a redirect here when the new site is live
