I found a couple of different boots for sale online that look like they would fit with the costume, but I wanted to get yall's opinion on them before buying anything.

The red color, obviously.

Thoughts? Size isn't really an issue (I wear women's sizes for shoes).

Both may work but as they are staged photos it is hard to say what they will look like when you actually have them in hand.

I found these at a shoe store. Does the color look close enough? Fabric is outer robe.

Those boots look to be more of a Red Wine color. I personally would say probably not the right color.

A better judge would be a comparison to the colour of the inner robe than that of the outer cloak.

I don't have the inner fabric yet. I'll post a comparison when I do.

Should the boots be closer to he inner robe in colour, or the outer?

As per the CRL, the boots should be closer to the Outer Robe color.

The CRL does state to match the outer robes, however, due to the hard nature in finding red boots, if a match to the inner robes can be found easier it may be considered depending on the match. Alternatively, black textureless boots are acceptable as the bare minimum for the 501st standards.

I misunderstood entirely - my boots match the inner robe fabric very well.
I have about 3 days left where I can still return them - should I?
