Home of the Sovereign Protectors

I’ve got a Don Post helmet that has a few minor scratches and dings and I’m wondering if I need to sand the entire helmet or just the spots with the scratches and dings. Once that’s done, is there a preferred spray paint color to use? Thanks in advance!

Fill in the Copyright on the back of the helmet and paint to match the fabric color. The Don Post helmets are a darker red than what is seen but always match helmet to the robes.
